Looking for the perfect sweet, satisfying and filling post workout breakfast? These pancakes are a quick & healthy way to refuel!
- Refined sugar free
- Dairy free (use mylk or water & vegan/whey-free protein powder)
- Gluten free (use coconut, almond or buckwheat flours)
2 people – these pancakes are surprisingly filling!
- 3/4 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 scoop protein powder (we used chocolate flavour!)
- 2 bananas
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Vanilla extract to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
- 1/4 cup (approx.) water or mylk
DRY INGREDIENTS: Blend the rolled oats to form a flour consistency & add the flour type of your choice. Add salt, protein powder and mix all ingredients together.
WET INGREDIENTS: Mash bananas & combine with vanilla extract.
Combine wet & dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add cinnamon to suit your preference and water/milk to form a smooth batter.
Cook over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Serve with fresh berries, nut butters, coconut sugar or organic yoghurt.
