PERFORMANCE:
RESISTANCE BAND EXERCISES
I love training weights & getting my dose of cardio in by rowing, treadmill intervals or a hill run, but having new exercises to add into my HIIT workouts and circuits always helps to keep me motivated. Recently I’m really enjoying resistance exercises with my circular & regular bands. Check out my Full Body Fat Burning HIIT workout to see a few resistance band moves that I love.
BOOTY BURNERS: SUMOSQUAT DEADLIFT
Hip thrusts will always be my absolute got-to exercise when I’m working on building my glutes, but recently I have incorporated a set of sumo deadlifts into my leg day session – and two days on, I’m hurting in all the right places (success!). [I performed 8 reps three times through in addition to my other weighted exercises.]

NIKKI B X GYMSHARK: CROSSBACK SPORTS BRA
I am guilty of waking up at 4am NZT to order this beautiful sports bra – Weird? Yes. Worth it? Definitely. This collaboration sold out within minutes, and for a good reason. Not only is the colour of this sports bra (I got red coral) one of my favourites, the design is super flattering – it literally seems to boost you up a bra size whilst being so sturdy and supportive – LOVE.
WOMEN’S BEST VEGAN PROTEIN: CHOCOLATE
For a plant-based protein, this one really exceeded my expectations. It isn’t nearly as chalky as you’d expect from a vegan protein and flavour-wise is so yum, even with water alone.
BLUE DINOSAUR PALEO BARS
YUM. It was my Mum who introduced me to these and I can confirm they are an absolute blessing to your tastebuds – your body will thank you for it too! Stacked full of superfood ingredients & nothing artificial, these guilt-free snacks are perfect as a pre-workout snack or handy for on the go.

Instagram is always full of beautiful people, but sometimes lacking an aspect of realism that I think is so important. It is so refreshing to see hardworking, strong (as hell!) and talented women on this platform like @lizclay_! She is an Australian 100m hurdler and will make you realise that your body is capable of far more than a thigh gap – this girl keeps it real and shows you that STRONG = beautiful.
MEGGAN GRUBB (meggangrubb)
Meggan is such a sweet social media figure! She’s always smiling or posting pictures of her puppy – and when she’s not, she’s posting killer instagram workouts for you to try! If you need some inspiration for your next gym session, check her out!
