The Love Club Process

Delivering your ceremony is just one part of the journey. The adventure starts long before that! My services cover off on all the legal requirements, alongside the planning and officiation of the ceremony itself.

1. Let’s connect

Once you confirm my availability for your wedding, we’ll schedule a casual meet-up. Whether it’s over a glass of wine or a relaxed chat on Zoom, I’m excited to connect with you. This initial meeting is all about getting to know each other, seeing if my style resonates with you, and making sure we click. There’s no obligation and it’s a great opportunity to put a face to the name.

2. Ready to dive in?

With the formalities out of the way, it’s time to get into the nitty gritty details. We can schedule as many meetings as you need, either online or in person. During our next catch-up, we’ll complete the first of the legal paperwork, the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM). I’m here to support you every step of the way, whether it’s hashing out wedding logistics or brainstorming heartfelt vows. These meetings are all about ensuring you feel fully supported, taking some stress off your plate and ensuring every aspect of your ceremony truly reflects who you are.

3. The countdown is on!

As the big day approaches, we’ll do a ceremony rehearsal to ensure everything runs smoothly. We’ll walk through the ceremony, discuss arrival times, do an aisle practice run through and sign the legal document, the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage (DONLIM).

I consider the rehearsal an absolute must-do. It’s also another reason to celebrate before the big day! The rehearsal ensures that everyone, from your wedding party to your nervous dad feels totally at ease and ready for the day!

4. On your wedding day

I’ll arrive an hour early to set up and do a sound check with the PA system. I’ll also touch base with venue staff, photographers, and other vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly. Then, it’s time for me to work my magic and officiate your ceremony, revelling in the joyous moment when I pronounce you officially married!

5. After the day

I’ll handle all the legal paperwork, submitting it to Births Deaths and Marriages and applying for your legal marriage certificate. Once it’s processed, your certificate will be on its way to you via mail (usually within 4-6 weeks post-wedding).
